I will admit that, until recently, I had never been much of a bread maker. It was always so much easier to just grab an already-baked loaf at the store. Plus, it seemed like every time I attempted to bake bread I ended up with something that resembled a rock! My outlook on homemade bread changed dramatically when I found Farmgirl Fare's Farmhouse White Bread. It tastes amazing, is so incredibly easy to make and bakes up fantastic every time. Right now you can request a Target Beauty bag full of samples and coupons. I have never received this (Target had this promotion a few months ago) but from what I hear, it's a great deal and well worth signing up for. These deals never last long, so be sure to request your sample ASAP!! I just requested mine and I can tell you that their site is running really slow right now...so just be patient :) I received an error message and had to refresh, but when I tried to resubmit my request it told me that a sample request had already been received by me...so I'm crossing my fingers that it worked correctly! I know that when most people hear "Amazon.com" they automatically think of electronics, movies, books, etc. But did you know that Amazon sells groceries?? And baby care items?? I would never have thought of ordering these items from Amazon, until recently when I discovered that they have SO MANY great deals on everything from natural & organic foods to everyday groceries to baby items. For me, living in a rural area, this has been a wonderful discovery. I can order grocery items at low prices and not even have to leave my house! Easy Homemade Ice Cream (Yummy AND Healthy!)

Let me start by saying that ice cream is truly my downfall when it comes to losing weight. Seriously. If there really is such a thing as "ice cream addiction", I'm pretty sure I have it ;) My mom and brother gave Mike and I this Cuisinart ICE-20 Automatic 1-1/2-Quart Ice-Cream Maker for our 10th wedding anniversary this year. Let me tell you, in the last month we have REALLY given this machine a workout! It's as close to homemade, hand-cranked ice cream as you can get (in my opinion) and it only takes 20-25 minutes.
